A quick criticality analysis at the start of a system, application, or process you undertake could save you quite a bit of time and trouble down the road. These days, apps make almost everything easier, including criticality assessments.
Taking 30 minutes out with the project’s owners before it begins could clarify the security requirements, and identify the possible threats that can do anything from interrupt a system to a total loss of data.
