Rodger Perkins takes us on a time-traveling tour of technology, with a challenge to New Zealand to become a globally recognised, technology-based powerhouse economy in 2024, if we can only start working on it now.

Rodger looks at what our relationship was with technology ten years ago, then looks at how technologies are already transforming our very existence, and what impact they will have on us, our jobs and our economy in the coming decade.

About Rodger Perkins

Rodger is a client manager with Assurity Consulting, and spends his time working to help businesses transform software delivery.  An important part of this role is transformation of software delivery practice.  Rodger also helps his customers to marry their business plans to current and future technology.

Rodger has led testing for a succession of organisations, including EDS, HP and the Department of Internal Affairs, prior to joining Assurity four years ago.  Rodger chairs the Wellington Test Professionals Network.
