Teaching, Learning and Research

This session will focus on the teaching of final year under graduate, graduate diploma and post graduate  programmes in the ITP sector.  The speakers will outline different techniques for teaching at this level.

  About Michael Verhaart

Michael Verhaart is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at the Eastern Institute of Technology, and is Program co-ordinator for the Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology and the Master of Information Technology. His research interests are in Digital Learning Technologies including Open Education Resources. Michael holds positions in two publications of CITRENZ: Executive Editor of the Journal of Applied Computing and Information Technology (JACIT) and co-editor of the Proceedings of Applied Computing and Information Technology (PACIT). He presents both nationally and internationally, and is a reviewer for a number of computing related journals and conferences.
